PRODUCTION MANAGER

Cheltenham

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience
+ 33 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
5% pension employer contribution and ticket allocation

Cheltenham Festivals is a charity collaborating to create experiences which bring joy, spark curiosity, connect communities and inspire change. Our year-round schools, community and talent development programmes culminate at the town’s internationally acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music, and Literature Festivals.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Head of Production who will lead the in-house Production team, manage production budgets across all our activities and provide advice across both internal departments and external partners.  The postholder will deliver all day-to-day production requirements to support the technical infrastructure, specification & design of the 4 annual festival sites, to include both temporary and fixed venues, and support year round activities.  With inclusion, equity and sustainability driving the charity’s strategic future planning, the postholder will work closely across internal creative teams to fulfil CF’s vision; a world in which everyone can create and explore culture.

This salary is based on flexible working days/hours across the year.  This role can be a mix of remote home working and working from our offices based in Cheltenham.   Evening and weekend work will be required during the lead up to a festival site build, across live festival days and then the get out, de-rig of festival sites.

You will be well organised, have excellent project management, budgetary IT and CAD skills and enjoy immersing yourself in the production of world-class live events.

At Cheltenham Festivals we care deeply about inclusive practice and diversity. We are an equal opportunities and Disability Confident Employer who embraces the benefits of diversity so that everyone – irrespective of individual differences in their identities, background or any personal characteristics – receives fair and equal treatment in a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment.
