Deli Cook

Cheltenham

The Nook Deli is situated on the ground floor of the Quadrangle Imperial Square and the entrance to
the beautiful Nook on Five roof top restaurant. The Deli is newly launched and provides the perfect
setting to grab a coffee cake or a light lunch.

We require a cook who can manage a small kitchen producing high standard food with speed and efficiency. You will get the opportunity to work alongside our exceptional restaurant chef’s who will support the production of many of the homemade menu items for you to serve.

The role will require someone who can make coffee’s to Barista standards, can chat to customers and can manage a thriving Deli kitchen.

This position is 37 hours per week from 7.30am to 3pm for 3 days in the week and 8am to 4pm on
weekends.

The job will require you to:

• Have high quality cooking skills including Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Have high quality barista skills (full training can be provided however previous experience is desirable)
• Have excellent customer service
• Manage a small kitchen having experience of stock rotation, food labelling and attention to detail with food allergens and the current legal requirements
• Managing and supervising staff
• Handle cash, which will include cashing up
• Occasionally work alone
