Into Play has been established for over 30 years and enjoys an outstanding reputation. We are looking for both qualified & unqualified Nursery Practitioners to support our baby room team. The successful applicants will need to befriendly and caring, happy to “muck in” and ideally have experience with Under 2’s.
Positions available:
- Full-time, consisting of 41 ¼ hours per week on a Rota basis (The nursery is open between the hours of 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 pm
- All positions are permanent and for 52 weeks of the year (nursery closes for 1 week at Christmas plus all Bank Holidays)
Role Purpose/ Key Objectives
- To support a team in a child-centered environment which is FUN.
- Ensure the children are cared for in a safe, educationally stimulating way helping them reach their full potential.
- To build excellent relationships with parents/carers and be able to record progress and feedback regularly.
- Implement Into Play’s policies and procedures with an emphasis on safeguarding as set down by the local Safeguarding Board.
- Deliver and uphold Into Play’s Vision & Core Values on an ongoing basis.
- Provide support to the Nursery Manager, Room Leaders & the team.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications
- A willingness to work as part of a team
- A willingness to have a good knowledge of the EYFS and how to plan and deliver this in a creative, fun and effective way
- A willingness to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Role model to staff and children
Knowledge and understanding of Equal Opportunities Experience
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before taking up the position.
- A commitment to undertake all necessary training requirements by law and regulation.

Salary: £24500.00 - £26800.00 per year pro rata depending on qualifications
