Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Longlevens, Gloucester
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator Level 3 or above to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young learners. You will play a key role in fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times, ensuring children feel secure and cared for.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the nursery setting.
- Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills through interaction.
- Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education best practices within the nursery.
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
- A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare at all times.
