Mitton Manor Pre-School - Play Assistant with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification - 13404979
Tewkesbury
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Play Assistant with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification and experience of working with children with SEN, to join our pre-school team for a 12-month maternity cover.
We are looking for someone to join our team as soon as possible, to work 3 days per week (23.25 hours per week, 8:15am – 4:00pm), term-time only. We offer competitive rates of pay that reflect your experience and half pay during the school holidays. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, with experience of working in early years and good knowledge of the EYFS, who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development and taking part in a variety of play-based activities. They will also have experience of working with children with SEN, as the role will involve taking on a key group of children, some of whom have SEN. The role is for the 2024 – 2025 academic year (until July 2025), but there may be scope to extend beyond this.
Certificates in child protection and paediatric first aid are desirable. A clear enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate before they commence the role.
