Senior Early Years Practitioner

Hartpury

We have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Early Years Practitioner in our rising 3’s room due to our imminent expansion.

Little Oaks Nursery is a forward-facing early years and education setting for children aged 0-5. Set-in purpose-built setting, with an extensive outside are, we are based 5 minutes from Gloucester and 20 minutes from Cheltenham.

Job Purpose:

To work in the Rising 3’s room supporting, developing, and extending play across the curriculum.
A love of the outdoors, a commitment to excellence in Early Years, a sense of humour and reliability is a must.

Specification; essential criteria

The successful candidate will have experience of working within the early years framework and have experience of supporting children and families.
A minimum qualification of a ‘full and relevant’ level 3 in EYFS is essential.

Desirable criteria

Hold additional training in communication and language.
Have some leadership experience.

Hours: Mon - Fri 8-5pm (4pm Friday). We also offer a holiday club and this post includes some shifts within in this, total weeks per year 44 weeks p/a ( 8 weeks off per year). There is flexibility within these hours.
