At Harrolls we are an ever growing family run business and are on the look out for passionate Housekeepers that take pride in their work.
No day is the same and that's what we love about our business, we are versatile and diverse!
The positions available will be working in a variety of environments from salons, to homes to holiday lets. Carrying out detailed cleans and changeovers, which involves bed making and an eye for detail.
We work across 7 days, including bank holidays and school holidays.
We are seeking applicants that can fulfil a number of roles we have available.
1. One job role working 12-16 hours a week working within shared accommodation properties (HMO).
2. Two job roles working 8-16 hours a week.
3. Two job roles working 4-8 hours a week at the weekend.
4. Multiple job roles working 8-16 hours a week as a Christmas temp.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a comfortable environment for guests and residents alike.
A background in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
You will need to be able to drive and have access to your own car, due to the clients being ranged all around Cheltenham and surrounding areas, with the need to carry cleaning equipment and linen.
Be available to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-3pm, and available 1 weekend in the month (we also have weekend only opportunities).
Duties include
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure that all rooms and common areas are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
- Manage laundry services.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and kitchen essentials as needed.
- Respond promptly to requests and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Be willing to travel in and around Gloucestershire.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Competent at using a mobile phone and mobile apps linked for work use.
