The Vacancy

Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a new Cleaner to join our Domestic Services team. This role is for 15 hours per week, and we are able to offer a variety of working weeks throughout the year, ranging from 34 weeks (term time) up 52 weeks per year.

The purpose of the role is to provide a clean and pleasant environment and to cover occasional absences within the Domestic services Department. Dean Close School is a thriving independent, co-educational day and boarding school set on a beautiful 50-acre site on the edge of Cheltenham.

Other roles and responsibilities include:

To help maintain the fabric of school buildings in good condition.
To maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the school.
To clean specified areas of the school to the required standard as instructed by your line Manager.
To comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
To take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of themselves and for others
