Curtain & Blind Maker
Burford/Fulbrook
We are looking for an additional Curtain Maker/Workroom Assistant to join our hardworking team in our beautiful Burford/Fulbrook Workroom.
With prior experience already, the successful role holder will be able to make curtains, pelmets, blinds, cushions and bespoke window dressings to an exceptional standard on time and to the correct specification.
The main parts of the role are:
- Making hand sewn and machined curtains, lined and interlined in a range of heading styles.
- Make hand finished roman blinds.
- Make valances, scatter cushions and box cushions to a high standard.
- Cut designer fabrics and linings from suppliers and notifying the Workroom Manager of any faults or flaws.
- Hand sew all products without compromising quality over quantity.
- Have good communication skills and can work well with a team.
- Approach work in an honest manor and take responsibility for all aspects of your work
- Have a positive approach to work, creating solutions and not problems.
Access to own transport is advised due to the location of the Workroom.

Salary: £12.44 p/h (plus discretionary bonus)
Hours Per Week: Full or Part-time considered - Mon-Frid
