Estate and Grounds Maintenance Assistant

between Upton upon Severn and Tewkesbury) with local travel required

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance person to join our rural estates team. We are looking for a real “all-rounder”, who is skilled across a varied range of general maintenance tasks and is comfortable working with a small team, in a rural setting.  

This is a diverse role, suited to a proactive, trustworthy individual, who is ideally looking for a long term position. The successful applicant will need to be confident working independently and will ideally have experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities include. but are not limited to -

• Grounds maintenance tasks such as chain sawing, mowing, fencing and ground works
• Assisting with the maintenance of a diverse property portfolio including residential, commercial and industrial properties (this may require some travel to surrounding areas)
• Maintenance of our livery yard, farm buildings, and ideally machinery. A practical mindset is essential.
• General repairs and upkeep of the estate including operating various machinery and assisting other team members as and when required.

This is a full time role, predominantly based on a small estate just outside Upton upon Severn. The role is available immediately, with a renumeration package commensurate with experience. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with appropriate breaks, and applicants must have own transport and the Right to work in the UK.
