Job Title: Wiring Technician

Location: North London, UK

Pay Range: £25.00 per hour

Contract Type: Contract

Omega is supporting this world-leading navigation, radar, and surveillance system manufacturer, which offers a comprehensive stack of solutions for the Defence, Maritime, and Commercial industries.

They are looking for experienced Wiring Technicians, responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of cable and wire harnesses, used in various electrical systems.

What You Will Be Doing - Wiring Technician

* Assemble wire harnesses, cable harnesses, and connectors
* Perform cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and splicing of wires and cables
* Use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
* Inspect and test assembled products for continuity, functionality, and to spec
* Identify and report defects or errors within manufacturing
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Maintain detailed production logs

What We Want From You - Wiring Technician

* Able to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
* Familiarity with electric testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers
* Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620
* Proficient with hands tools, power tools, and testing equipment
* Strong attention to detail and computer skills
