Are you an experienced administrator looking for your next challenge? We’re hiring for a growing company, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in their finance department based in Hereford. 

You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations, from invoicing and credit control to month-end reporting. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to grow your knowledge in finance, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Hereford 
Employment Type: Full time, Monday-Friday
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: 08:30 - 17:30
Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holiday

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and manage invoices in line with company policies.
- Handle incoming finance-related correspondence and distribute accordingly.
- support credit control, maintaining accurate records and chasing outstanding payments.
- Support with cost transfers and approvals.
- Assist with month-end reporting, including time, billing, cash flow, and budgeting reports.
- Maintain and reconcile cashbooks and bank accounts.
- Monitor and update calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in implementing new finance processes and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and procedures.
- General administration duties

- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Some understanding of finance functions and reporting.
