Customer Support Representative
Nailsworth, Gloucestershire
We are looking for...
Motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to develop a career in customer support and learn a new industry in coatings for industrial buildings. This role will really suit someone who wants to be part of an experienced team and who is confident being the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with enquiries, providing technical information, estimates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also provide support to the external sales team and be an integral part of our small office team.
This is an office-based role that requires:
• Considerable initiative and self-reliance within a small team
• The ability to learn how to use the CRM (HubSpot) and accounting software (QuickBooks)
• A good standard of English, Numeracy and literacy skills are imperative
• A confident, articulate telephone manner
• An exemplary ability & empathy to deal with customers
• Honesty and integrity
• Keen to learn on the job, to progress and grow with the company.
• Previous experience within the construction industry or roofing is not a pre-requisite but is an advantage

Is looking for a career that gives you responsibility in a role that isn’t micro-managed. Someone who has the desire to understand and build knowledge of the Industrial Coatings Industry in order to better communicate and explore opportunities with our customers.
Key day to day tasks of the role include…
• Proactively responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
• Documenting customer interactions and feedback in our CRM system.
• Providing estimates and accurate information to customers and follow up to help identify potential leads for the sales team.
• Receiving orders from customers, checking quantities ordered, stock availability and prices are correct.
• Providing accurate technical information and specifications to customers via email and phone (technical training will be provided)
• Arranging site visits for the Contractor Support Team & follow up with any information required.
• Maintaining CRM system with information as required.
• Implementing, maintaining and improving systems within the company to ensure a high-quality customer experience is achieved and delivered.
• Answering online chat through our websites
Education and Experience
• GCSE English & Maths
• Proven experience in Customer Support or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using customer support software and tools (Office 365 / HubSpot / QuickBooks or equivalent)
• Ability & initiative to work on own and as part of team
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive salary between £23,500 to £24,500 with opportunities for an OTE bonus dependant of overall company profits

Working Conditions
Hours of work - 5-day Monday-Friday working week. 8:30 – 4:30pm
Overtime expectation - Overtime is rare, however where required, there may be the need to assist with a late courier collection
Work environment - Office is based in South Woodchester, Nailsworth Gloucestershire.

The office-based support team are highly knowledgeable about the systems we provide and the intricacies of industrial roofs and are just one part of the customer journey and experience.
Due to having members of the sales team remote working, and out on the road, communication between departments is key.
