Job description
Stroud District Council is a dynamic and ambitious organisation committed to putting our customer at the heart of everything we do.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for customer service and a desire to make a difference to join our busy Customer Contact Centre. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective customer experience, resolving queries at the first point of contact via various channels including, telephone, in person, email, letter and online.
Our dedicated Customer Contact Centre offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering high quality services by engaging with our residents, partners, and staff.
To be successful you will need:
- A good standard of education through qualification (e.g., GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent)
- To be passionate about customer service and have a strong customer focus.
- To have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of customers with various needs and requirements.
- A willingness to train, develop new skills, welcoming the opportunity to be at the forefront of change and improvements.
- Ability to multi-task, inputting information on several internal systems and resolving queries by referring to different sources.
