Solidworks Junior Designer - TH

Solidworks Junior Designer
£13.50 - £18 per hour
Gloucester | Temp- On going

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated SolidWorks Junior Designer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SolidWorks with experience in Part Moulding, Weldment and Exporting Drawings.

As a SolidWorks junior Designer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models, drawings, and assemblies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using Solidworks software
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications
• Conduct design reviews and make necessary revisions
• Create manufacturing drawings and documentation such as Part Moulding and Weldment
• Assist with prototype development and testing
Essential Skills:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or related field preferred Certification in Solidworks
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using Solidworks software
• Proficiency in creating 3D models, drawings, and assemblies
• Knowledge & experience of Weldment
• Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly
• Experience in creating models for sheet metal fabrication
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
