Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- To work collaboratively with the Education Manager and Provision Lead to manage and co-ordinate placements for new and potential students and Bespoke Provision Programmes for SGS Oasis.
- Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships and communication with other schools, providers and supporting organisations (for example: local comprehensive and specialist schools, The PRU, Youth Support Service, Youth Offending Service, Social Services, parents, carers and other relevant providers and supporting organisations
- Attending school EHCP annual reviews and arranging effective transitions into Oasis for potential learners.
- To plan and oversee effective and accessible bespoke packages of education and support to ensure learner engagement and progression.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or above, or equivalent
- IT Literate (especially proficient in the use of Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of Specialist Education and Alternative Provision
- Knowledge of Local Authority consultation processes and procedures
