£16,154 - £16,637 per annum (actual salary)
£26,924 - £27,729 per annum (FTE salary)
22.5 hours per week
Fixed term to cover maternity leave

About the Role
- Ensure academic and quality standards are met across the full range of HE provisions, in line with regulatory requirements and good practice.
- Ensure all student concerns (including complaints and appeals) received within HE are recorded and processed in a uniform and timely manner.
- Following receipt of a student concern, support the investigating officer by obtaining and collating all information required in order to enable an investigation to be undertaken, by communicating with internal and external customers.
- Oversee projects to support a high-quality student and staff experience
- Act as point of contact for staff during the absence of members of the HE Executive team, using initiative in dealing with resulting action.
About You
- Experience in an office and/or customer services environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Word and Excel
- Experience of officering meetings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels
- You will be flexible, with the ability to adapt to a varied and interesting workload as well as a willingness to learn and develop
- You will be organised and methodical in your approach whilst enjoying working as part of a team dedicated to providing outstanding service whilst meeting its targets.
- You will be passionate about problem solving while representing the University to the highest standard.
- You will be prepared to develop the ability to interrogate our student records systems.
