Brake Press Operator - AF
Cheltenham
Brake Press Operator – Salary: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour
Location: Cheltenham
Our Client is searching for a skilled Brake Press Operator looking to join their dynamic team, you will be responsible for the manufacture and adjustment of high-quality aerospace components.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating and programming the Amada CNC Brake Press, ensuring adherence to technical drawings and processes while meeting production targets.
Conducting first-off inspections and ensuring compliance with production, safety, and quality standards.
Working independently and collaboratively, addressing issues with your line manager when necessary and sharing your technical knowledge with team members.
Engaging in internal and external audits and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential skills and experience
A background in engineering and familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Essential experience in operating and programming the Amada CNC Brake Pres
Strong manual skills and precision, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
Comfort with numerical tasks relevant to production.
