Owen Daniels have an exciting opportunity for and experineced recruiter within business development manage to join a leading Engineering Organisation in the UK.
You will possess the people skills required to communicate with various stakeholders and decision makers to maintain and grow the companies accounts. You will also be someone who has the drive, tenacity, and passion to find new opportunities for the business to support growth globally.
You will need to be mentally agile, with the ability to design and deliver customer solutions ensuring initial relationship build through to account penetration and growth. You will have come from a background where you have been both opportunistic and have long term strategic targets.
Responsibilities
- New business development and account penetration
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role ideally within the recruitment industry.
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ATS software
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport.
- Time management and planning skills
- Knowledge of IR35, AWR advantageous
