Vacancy – Workshop Operative
We are looking to recruit a skilled Workshop Operative working in wood to produce items for the gift sector. We are able to offer a post on a part time basis on a permanent contract with our valued client. You must have previous experience of working in a wood shop and used to operating band saws, nail guns, chop saws, table saws, radial arm saw, drills, planers and sanders.
Responsibilities:
• Building small and large wooden animal shelters and habitats
• Use of band saws, table saws, drills and other machinery
• Use of hand tools
• Working with a small team
Requirements:
• Previous experience of working in a production environment
• Able to operate machinery
• Practical problem solver
