Curriculum Development Manager

Location: Flexible, hybrid working with occasional (minimal monthly) meetings in Cirencester and travel overseas to partner institutions

Salary: Part time up to 28 hours per week available (minimum 0.2 FTE up to 0.8FTE): £32,982 - £39,347 pro rata

Term: One Year Fixed Term Contract

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to develop high-quality, professional and innovative teaching materials and resources supporting the University curriculum. Initially this will include development of teaching materials for delivery of the BSc Sustainable Agriculture in partnership with an international partner. The role may also include development of teaching materials in other areas, including Agriculture, Equine, Business, Environment and Land Property.

Teaching materials and resources will include associated teaching notes and interactive facilitated learning exercises. All materials will need to be developed to be compliant with international copyright and licensing requirements and other international standards, with appropriate records. The Curriculum Development Manager will also assess and develop teaching materials and resources for compatibility and use and through different platforms and media in other countries with partner institutions. Teaching materials and resources will generally be in the form of MS Office media with other relevant software.

The role will need to liaise across the University with a number of key departments including academic staff, international (professional services), and learning technologies and library/intellectual property.
