Finance Manager - Finance

Are you a qualified Finance professional looking for a new challenge within the education sector? Class People are currently supporting one of the leading independent schools in their search for a financial professional to oversee the financial operations working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations.

With the opportunity to work Hybrid, full-time with a salary of up to £58,000 per annum. Class People are supporting on the recruitment for a qualified finance professionals seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding a prestigious school through its financial strategy and supporting its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial records, maintain accounting systems, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Manage annual audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including VAT returns.
* Provide financial insights for decision-making and long-term planning, supporting the school's growth and development.

What we're looking for:

* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, ideally within education or the non-profit sector.
* Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, people management, and advanced Excel proficiency.
* Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

This opportunity is paying up to £55,000 per annum pro rata 37.5 hours per week, all year round.
