Heron Primary School is looking for an exceptional modern linguist to lead our teaching of Modern Foreign Language across Keystage 2. We are looking for a specialist to teach French or Spanish but we would consider other languages for the right candidate.

We welcome applications from candidates who:
• Are excellent classroom practitioners who will nurture the children, encouraging perseverance and resilience
• Hold high expectations of all pupils whilst recognising individual needs and celebrating diversity
• Demonstrate a track record of achieving outstanding progress and outcomes for their pupils across the whole curriculum
• Have experience of successfully leading a subject area across the whole school and are able to demonstrate the impact they have made in this area
• Are adaptable, highly motivated and are good team players.

The position is for two days per week on Wednesday and Thursday.
