Tow Truck Operator - ESS6708N
Cam
LOCATION: CAM, Gloucestershire - GL11 Area
HOURS: 07.45am – 16.30pm Mon – Thur and 07.45am – 15.30pm Friday
START DATE: ASAP
PAY: £12.34PH
TYPE OF CONTRACT: TEMP TO PERM
Job: Tow Truck Operator
Responsibilities:
* Able to drive the electric tow tug and forklift.
* Working as an individual, and within a team to meet the dept. goals.
* Weighing off yarns from Billiard and Tennis
* Steaming Billiard yarns
* Transportation of yarn, pin trucks/ containers to required departments and return empties back to their original storage.
* Keeping storage areas clean and tidy and lot numbers/types in the correct rotation for that dept to use.
* Returning of waste excess materials to the Yarn plant for recycling.
* Other, key role’s–
* Environmental issue’s -
* Working with our current Environmental/ material’s person.
* Loading/ unloading lorries.
* Waste segregation bins to be emptied and kept clean.
* Keeping the steamer, locker room and stairs swept and tidy
* Process waste packing, using a bailer and waste bale frames.
* Other duties that need attending to within the plant if required.
