Full-Time Sales Assistant - Sales Assistant
Montpellier, Cheltenham
Located in the heart of Montpellier, Cheltenham, Bakers Fine Jewellery specialises in Antique and Vintage pieces of the highest quality as well as offering an eclectic range of modern and contemporary jewellery.
The Role:
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring every customer feels valued and leaves with a piece they’ll treasure forever. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves jewellery and thrives in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Providing advice on jewellery styles, stones, and care.
• Handling transactions and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Ensuring displays are well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing.
• Supporting stock management, including receiving deliveries.
• Supporting customer jewellery repairs, and conversing with suppliers and workshops.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and has an attention to detail.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional and approachable demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and a flair for presenting products.
• Ability to work well in a small team and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service (jewellery experience is a plus but not essential).
• A willingness to learn about jewellery, gemstones, and the industry.
