Head of Geography

Cheltenham

Salary: competitive and depending on skills, qualifications and experience

Cheltenham Ladies’ College is recruiting for a Head of Geography.

The Geography Department is high -performing, driven and supportive.There are over 150 girls studying GCSE Geography across Years 10 and 11 and over 50 studying the subject at A level and IB.

There are seven specialist teachers in place; both full time and part time. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided.

The successful candidate will be a well-qualified, inspiring, dynamic and experienced teacher of high calibre with proven management experience who will work with enthusiasm and commitment to get the best from our students in ways that are intellectually demanding and stimulating and will be able to lead and take forward a strong and successful GeographyDepartment.

All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
