We are looking for a Assistant Headteacher to join our talented and supportive team at Callowell Primary School. Hours – Full time

Start Date – 1st September 2024

Actual Salary – L1 to L4 (£47,185 - £50,807)

Callowell Primary School are looking for an Assistant Headteacher, responsible for leading Teaching & Learning. The Principal and Governing body wish to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic dedicated leader who will be able to support, develop and build upon the qualities and the achievements of the school to date.

The school is in an exciting phase of its improvement journey with a newly appointed Principal starting in September. Candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding and experience of delivering school improvement successfully and the importance of building relationships, as a newly formed senior leadership team, within the school’s community.

You will be expected to work as a class teacher covering PPA for 3 days per week with 2 days out of class to be able to implement and develop school improvement.

We would like to appoint a strong team player and senior leader, who will support the aims and core values of the school.

The successful candidate will:

Be passionate about children’s high quality learning and engagement

Have a responsibility for Teaching & Learning across the school

Be able to work in partnership with the Principal and senior leadership team to effectively lead and manage the school, deputising for the Principal in their absence.

As a Class Teacher you will be responsible for the delivery of National Curriculum to a high standard and excel in delivering excellent teaching and learning across the curriculum.
