Archway school is seeking to appoint an inspirational Assistant SENCO to work alongside a dedicated team with the SEN and Inclusion Support Hub.

This is an exciting time to join our school; we are experiencing a tremendous rise in student numbers and this has put us in the wonderful position of being able to recruit new staff to join our forward thinking team. This role is part of our planned expansion of support for students with SEN/SEMH needs.

Archway was visited by a team of Ofsted inspectors in March 2022 and the school was graded “Good” in all five categories, with an overall effectiveness grade of “Good”. The inspectors recognised the significant progress that had been made in a number of areas since the previous inspection in 2018. The school prides itself on its inclusive attitude and green credentials. We are proud to be a relational practice school.

We seek a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for supporting students with additional needs. You will be joining a team of like-minded professionals who have a student-centred approach. This is an exciting role combining whole class teaching (subject to be discussed), SEN case work and teaching small classes in the Support Hub.

Assistant SENCO
• Start date Easter 2025, but this is flexible
• Teachers’ Pay Scale with TLR SEN 2 £5285
• Full-time
