Health and Safety Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and competent Health and Safety Manager to plan, oversee, implement, document and update all aspects of the companies Health and Safety matters. Ensuring the Directors and Department Managers are fully informed of any health, safety and welfare matters, ensuring compliance with our statutory obligations.
Key areas of the role:
- You will provide a strong and visible H&S presence across all departments in the business, ensuring that any H&S concerns are addressed immediately.
- You will conduct regular site Inspections and be present in your capacity as Health and Safety Manager.
- You will lead from the front, promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.
- You will take care of all administrative aspects of Health and Safety including equipment checks and training records.
About you
- You will hold a minimum of NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- You will hold a qualification in Environmental Management
- You will have a background or experience for managing Health and Safety in manufacturing, engineering or construction.
- Ideally you will hold a CDM qualification
- A driving licence is essential

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours Per Week: A minimum of 37.5 hours per week
