Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated mobilisation manager for a 12-month fixed term post, March 2025 to February 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of place-based integrated community services. You will work directly with the Locality Partnership Collaborative Operational Delivery Group (ODG) to support partners to reduce inequalities and implement pro-active services that are co-produced with our communities.
If you have experience of building new programmes from the ground up, alongside great planning and stakeholder management skills and a strong background in delivery, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of multi-agency, cross-organisational programme and project management and delivery within complex organisations and systems, particularly within Localities. They will need to be rigorous and highly organised in their approach, with a track record of using common programme management methodologies. They will have experience of NHS finances, public sector procurement and contracting, evaluation planning, risk management and benefits realisation.
The post holder will bring together ongoing projects and lead on monitoring and progressing these. They will create a governance process to enable effective delivery providing assurance to the Locality Partnership Collaborative ODG and system. Experience of leading programme or project steering groups with minimal supervision is essential.
Main duties of the job
Main responsibilities include:
Implementation and management of a programme management process for the Locality Partnership Collaborative ODG's Pro-active care and Health Inequalities investments.
Implementation of appropriate governance processes to manage the programme.
Monitor the progress of the programmes and projects against their original business case and project initiation document.
Management of the programme risk register and risk management processes.
Tracking and updating the LP Collaborative ODG's finances (forecasts, actuals and receipt of invoices.
Support the benefits identification, planning and realisation for projects, and allocated programmes ensuring they are accurately documented and monitored and communicated appropriately.
Preparation of programme reports for the LP Collaborative ODG, Community HCIG and Locality Partnership Boards.
Co-ordination of programme evaluation to deliver a pan-BNSSG overarching evaluation plan.
Co-ordination of procurement and contracting approach for the projects within the programme.
Co-ordination of involvement / co-production at programme level (where relevant).
Supporting project leads with drafting of contracts.
Management of the programme Lessons Learned Log and continuous improvement of the programme management and assurance processes.
Production of an End of Programme Report, including recommendations for improved practice informed by the lessons learned during this process.
