SEND Programme Manager - D9843-ICB-6053HB

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Programme Manager. The ICB is looking for a programme manager with the ability to quickly build relationships with all stakeholders who work with and commission services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities aged 0-25 years.

Ideally you will be knowledgeable about SEND and experienced in working across organisations and childrens and adult services.

You will work closely with the Designated Clinical Officer and the ICB commissioning teams to deliver outcomes as set out in the programme.

Please note, interviews will be in person at Shire Hall, Gloucester on 13 March 2025.

Main duties of the job

The post will involve

Being a champion for the ICB in promoting the needs of Children and young people with SEND.

Leading and monitoring the programme workstreams in respect of progress against milestones, risks/issues, interdependencies etc.

Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the SRO and Programme Board.

Taking responsibility for the quality assurance and overall integrity of the Programme.

Ensuring coherent and robust benefits management approaches are in place.

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of business cases and strategies.
