Gloucester
Job summary
This is an exciting time to join us in Gloucestershire where Childrens, Young Peoples and Maternity Services are key priorities. This pivotal role will support system wide collaborative working to facilitate the delivery of multi-priority work streams identified specifically by the Local Maternity & Neonatal System.
Main duties of the job
Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) is the collective term for clinicians, managers, service users, Local Authorities, NHS providers and commissioners, who come together to plan, deliver and evaluate maternity services within the Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (ICS) to meet the needs of women, birthing people and their families. The role of the Gloucestershire LMNS is to support transformation to improve the quality and safety of maternity and neonatal care across the full pathway and more recently, to maintain oversight and assurance of maternity services.
At the core of the work will be providing project management and quality improvement support and guidance to a number of projects that form the deliverables within the LMNS programme plan in line with the national three-year delivery plan for maternity and neonatal services. The post holder will need to manage frequently tight timeframes to ensure project tasks are completed on time and budget and provide regular and accurate progress reports, both verbal and written.
