Job summary
Are you a qualified paediatric nurse with hospital and community experience working with children and young people? Are you looking towards a change of direction in the development of your career? Building on our current success we are developing our Childrens Continuing Care team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to this new post, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic paediatric nurse to join us.
The successful candidate will have specialist paediatric clinical knowledge and experience, will be an effective communicator, have an ability to develop effective assessment skills; will be an effective leader and manager, will be resilient and able to work autonomously but also work as a valued member of a team. Good knowledge of safeguarding and multi- agency working is required. This exciting new post is a community-based post with the post holder expected to travel throughout Gloucestershire. Occasional out of County travel may also be required. Professional curiosity is key in this specialty and in return we can offer, protected time for training, mentorship, and supervision, and enable the successful candidate to become knowledgeable about the Childrens Continuing Care framework.
Main duties of the job

Team management skills and experience and used to supporting colleagues undertaking clinical assessments.
Experience of working collaboratively in a multi-agency arena is essential, as close collaboration takes place within community and acute services as well as education and social care

Key Working Relationships
Required to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services, and initiatives which may be highly complex, sensitive, political, and contain contentious information with the aim of providing information and analytical advice to the teams.
Work with members of the team to develop and implement project data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data
Communicate information, risks, issues and dependencies, including briefings and reports to Project teams, sponsors and a range of internal and external staff.
