Senior Programme Manager - Children and Young people's Mental health - D9843-ICB-5987HB

Job summary

This is an exciting time to join us in Gloucestershire where Children , Young People and Maternity Services are key priorities. This pivotal will lead the childrens mental health programme within the Children, Young People and Maternity Team.

Our children and young peoples mental health programme includes promoting good mental health, early intervention, building resilience though to crisis support, as well as the trauma-informed support we provide for children in need of protection and those in care. We are committed to reducing health inequalities for children, young people, and have developed some innovative approaches in collaboration with children and young people, parents and carers and our system partners.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to make a real difference working collaboratively with education, health and care colleagues and coproducing improvements with young people, parents and carers, effecting transformation and change so that services and support is designed around the needs of families in local communities. The postholder will have developed leadership skills and the ability to develop positive relationships across the system along with energy, enthusiasm and tenacity.

Our team work in a fast paced environment and have a supportive, inclusive and can do problem solving approach. There are opportunities to develop in this role and work across a number of areas with families and colleagues in a wide range of organisations.
