Job summary
Overview
The Lead for Essential Clinical Training Review is an exciting, fixed term role leading on a review of the clinical training needs of our non-medical, clinical staff and mapping of essential training programmes within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post-holder will be required to develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships across our Trust and with our education partners, being a visible and accessible presence.
Main duties of the job
Job Purpose
- To ensure the clinical, non-clinical & acute skills training of our non-medical, clinical staff equips our workforce to deliver our vision of providing Best Care for Everyone.
-To establish the specific clinical training needs for our clinical professions and to map essential educational programmes essential for staff to undertake their role.
- To ensure that at the point of recruitment, clinical staff training and upskilling needs are understood and systematic in enrolment.
- The post-holder will continue to build on the current review being undertaken for Trust Induction and the current provision of clinical skills training within Education & Development Services and the wider specialty specific core training.
