IT 2nd Line Engineer - 4636628
Swindon
On the hunt for a role to start in January? This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong 2nd line background and leadership ability.
2nd line engineer - Swindon - £31,000 - £37,000
Responsibilities:
- Assess, troubleshoot and support server and end user computing issues.
- Assist in the developing processes and methods of IT operation.
- Onsite IT support on various company sites.
- Log system issues and track performance of IT services.
- Maintain a level of technical competence and highlight any training needs to IT Manager, whilst assisting in training other members of staff.
What you'll need:
- Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and VMWare.
- Hands-on demonstrable experience with server infrastructure and networking; LAN, vLAN, WAN, VPN's etc.
- Microsoft Intune & Defender
Other requirements -
- Driving licence and own transport - essential
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and plainly explain complex situations.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
