My client is seeking a skilled SolidWorks Junior Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate have excellent knowledge of SolidWorks with some practical experience of Part Moulding, Weldment and Exporting Drawings. You will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models, drawings, and assemblies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using Solidworks software
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions
Ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications
Conduct design reviews and make necessary revisions
Create manufacturing drawings and documentation such as Part Moulding and Weldment
Assist with prototype development and testing
Essential Skills:
Mechanical Engineering Degree or related field preferred Certification in Solidworks
Minimum of 1 year of experience using Solidworks software
Proficiency in creating 3D models, drawings, and assemblies
Knowledge of Weldment
Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly
Experience in creating models for sheet metal fabrication
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
