Wordpress Web Developer

Gloucester

We are a forward-thinking Digital Marketing Agency based in Barnwood, Gloucester. We provide digital solutions for businesses and agencies directly, and in partnership. Our clients include local businesses, web designers and developers, PR agencies and other marketing companies throughout the UK and internationally.

Our team comprises of dedicated professionals, delivering high quality SEO, PPC, Web Design and Online Marketing Services.

What we're looking for: Wordpress Web Developer

We're looking for someone with WordPress experience to join our busy team. The ideal candidate must be hard working, able to complete tasks quickly with a good eye for detail, have good communication skills and be approachable to the rest of the team.

Duties:

• Completing ad hoc tasks from the web and SEO team such as responding to client queries, website edits, on-page implementation, updating plugins and debugging errors on websites
• Designing new website visuals for clients - using XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or WordPress
• Building websites based on both your own designs and mock-ups provided by other designers
• Collaborate with developers to implement website designs and optimise user experience
• Checking Google Page Speed Insights to determine opportunities within website speed metrics
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in website design & development

Required skills:

• The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and have good organisation skills
• Willingness to support the rest of the team
• Good communication
• Experience with WordPress CMS & front-end builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi etc.
• Proficiency with HTML5 & CSS3
• Familiarity with the Adobe CC suite (including Photoshop, XD & Illustrator)
• Strong eye for detail
• A willingness to learn new skills and develop as a professional

Beneficial skills:

• Experience with Impreza WordPress Theme by UpSolution
• Experience with WPBakery Page Builder
• Experience with website hosting & domain management (DNS, cPanel, WHM)
• JavaScript and jQuery experience
• PHP coding experience
• On page Seo knowledge

Working hours:

8am - 4pm Monday - Friday at our office in Barnwood, Gloucester.

Pay: Salary negotiable depending on experience
