Job description
£26,126.00 - £39,598.58 per annum – 37 hours per week, all year around.
Gloucestershire College is recruiting for an experienced Lecturer to join our discreet High Needs provision ‘Foundation Studies’ based at our Cheltenham Campus, to teach students with moderate and additional learning difficulties.
The purpose of this role is to create and deliver individualised stimulating opportunities for learning that focus on core employability and independence skills needed for adulthood. The curriculum offers students a bespoke personalised timetable, which complements their employability and independence development and supports their aspiration.
The curriculum is fluid depending on students’ starting point with modules covering a broad spectrum of topics including: catering, nutrition, household skills, personal care, developing and maintaining relationships, travel training, social action, volunteering, work experience, employability skills, Maths, and English.
