Lecturer in Construction T Levels

Cirencester

Salary: £30,800 to £45,267 per annum

(Salary dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Required: 2nd September or a later date by arrangement

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a modern, forward thinking, professional from the Construction sector to join our thriving College and be at the forefront of the new T Level qualifications.  The College is continuing to implement new T level qualifications as they become available, and this is an unique opportunity for the right candidate to work with us in developing our curriculum.

We are looking for a lecturer to join the STEM faculty to join our Construction team.  The T levels are very broad and we would encourage applicants who have experience in any of the following areas:

• Design Surveying & Planning
• Building Services Design
• Civil Engineering
• Green / Sustainable Construction
This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher, or someone looking to move into a career in teaching from prior work in the Construction industry. 

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop their passion for education within a supportive and quickly developing area, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and delivery of the innovative T levels.

The post holder will be expected to:

• Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision
• Work with the STEM Faculty and with enrichment staff to create provision that excites and stimulates demand

Candidates should have a commitment to providing high quality learning to enable all learners to achieve their full potential.  The ability to truly work as a team player is also essential.  The post-holder will be expected to demonstrate outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills.
