Travel and Business Lecturer
Salary: £30,800 - £45,267 FTE per annum
(Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Required from: April 2025
Travel and Business lecturer required to join a team of lecturers and have a positive impact in the classroom. We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual to join our ambitious Faculty of Business and contribute to curriculum initiatives. You will be part of a team and teaching across mainly Business and Travel and Tourism programmes. The department of Business is committed to encouraging students to reach their full potential and candidates will ideally have experience in teaching and working with teams of people. Relevant skills and industry experience would be extremely valuable to deliver the vast breadth and depth of knowledge required across these areas. Candidates will be committed to the Cirencester College mission and vision and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment.
Candidates should have a commitment to post compulsory education at FE and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning. The ability to work well within a team and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess a good honours degree and a teaching qualification although the College is supportive of new entrants into the teaching profession and we are therefore willing to consider applications from graduates who are willing to undertake a supported teaching qualification as part of their professional development.
