Think FE are proud to be partnering with a top college construction department with brand new facilities, who are looking for a passionate Lecturer in Technical Construction to inspire and educate the next generation of construction professionals. This role involves teaching Levels 3 and 4 in the Built Environment and offers the opportunity to shape the future workforce in this critical sector.
Location:
What s on offer
- £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
- £4,000 Scarce Skills Bonus (eligibility applies).
- 38 days holiday, plus bank holidays and college closure periods.
- Access to the Teachers Pension Scheme with an impressive 28.68% employer contribution.
- Ongoing professional development, including funding to achieve a Level 5 Teaching Qualification if needed.
- Choose between Cheltenham or Gloucester campuses to suit your preferences.
Who are we Looking For:
Candidates with a strong background in construction or related fields, such as:
- Architectural Design
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
What you ll need:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Construction or the Built Environment.
- A willingness to work towards a Level 5 Teaching Qualification if not already obtained.
- A strong commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience for students.
- To undergo an enhance DBS check including the Child Barred list prior to commencing employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons and hands-on activities for students at Levels 3 and 4 (16-19 year olds).
- Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with industry standards.
- Provide academic and career support to help students achieve their full potential.
