HOURLY PAY: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum

VACANCY – SEO AND COPYWRITER MANAGER
ESS Employment are advertising on behalf of an established client for an SEO and Copywriter Manager to join their marketing team, which focuses on both Retail and Trade/Professional sectors in the home and garden improvement market. You may also assist with website activities in other areas of the business when needed.
Key responsibilities:
• Create relevant PR content to Trade & Retail publications
• Input on publication suitability and strategic PR counsel
• Pitch to key publication editors to maximise our exposure
• Produce relevant keyword articles to promote online visibility and promote key products & solutions.
• Implement relevant People Also Asked (PAA) questions and E-E-A-T Signals (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness for Google credibility
• Implement Product Schema markup & Competitor/SERP (Search Engine Results Page) Analysis
• Create backlink opportunities
• Suggest improvements on website & campaign optimisation/performance
• GA4 reporting & online performance tracking.
• Keep up to date with changing SEO practices
• Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to align our online business strategy and content/copy angles.
Requirements:
• Strong reporting skills, especially using GA4, with an analytical mindset.
• A collaborative team player who adds value to marketing efforts.
• A self-starter with a results-driven approach.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to think ahead.
• At least 3 years of SEO experience (agency or in-house).
• HTML programming knowledge and e-commerce experience are a plus.
• A full, clean driving license with access to a car is required.
