Production Operative - ESS6454N
Minchinhampton, Stroud
LOCATION: Nr Minchinhampton
DAILY TIMES: Mon to Thurs 7.00am – 4.00pm, Fri 7.00am-1.00pm (40hour working week)
START DATE: ASAP
PAY: £11.44ph Starting rate

Job: Production Operative
ESS Employment Ltd are looking for a production Operative to join our client based Nr Minchinhampton. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our clients growing team.
Main duties and responsibilities –
1.Production of components to customer drawings/specifications.
2.Manufacture of our standard products.
3.Packing of orders.
4.Goods Inwards.
5.Control of stock/materials used.
6.Contributing to process review and continual improvement.
7.Advise the Office of any stock items, packaging materials or other components that you have noticed are running low.
8.Ensure workshop and production areas are clean and tidy and that stock is clearly stored.
9.Ensure all equipment and manufacturing specifications are put away at the end of a job.
10.Use of forklift provided you have current certificates. Training can be offered in this for the right candidate.
11.Together with any other general duties which fall within a manufacturing role.
Qualifications–
1.GCSE Maths and English minimum grade C
Skills-
1.Knowledge of plastics (fluoroplastics a bonus)
2.Dexterity
3.Ability to read or an understanding of engineering drawings.
4.Use of hand power tools
5.Use of pallet truck/forklift
6.Good organisational skills
7.Excellent verbal and written communication skills
