We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our client based in Cheltenham on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a brand new opportunity that has been created so there are no old shoes to fill; this role will be yours to develop and mould. It is likely to become a permanent role, once you have proved that this position is an essential function to the business. As the Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting with marketing, advertising, and PR activities. This is a part-time, 3 days a week post within the hours of 9am to 5:30pm. However, our client is extremely flexible so will consider 5 days per week school time hours, if this is more suitable, just let us know on your application what works for you.

As a Marketing Assistant you will:

* Liaise with the team, who have a huge wealth of knowledge in the industry, to build marketing campaigns.
* Manage the social media channels including X and LinkedIn and ensure that relevant information is pushed out to the wider network.
* Create and produce a bi-monthly newsletter.
* Work on all areas of the company's brand including their website and email campaigns.
* Take ownership of the brand and drive brand awareness to assist with business growth.
* Track competitors activity and report on what has been successful.
* Monitor trends and analyse the impact of marketing campaigns, using relevant data from each campaign produced.
* Stay up to date with industry news and events and look for opportunities to develop marketing opportunities.

The ideal Marketing Assistant will:

* Be a self starter with a curious and bubbly personality.
* Be a fast learner, who is eager to explore new ideas and will thrive in an environment where growth is at the forefront.
* Have a keen eye for detail and be a stickler for accuracy and consistency.
* Be conscientious and a team player.
* Want to work in a small and friendly company and take the lead on all things marketing.
* Be comfortable working with external marketing parties.
* Have either a Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar qualifications or be qualified by experience.

Salary: £25k - 27k per year + pro rata

Hours Per Week: 24 hours per week
