Experienced Fabricator
Cheltenham
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with aluminium. This role involves using power tools and hand tools to fabricate components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Experience in fabricating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling is essential and experience using mitre saws and CNC machines would be advantageous.
As an important part of the team, you will be working from design drawings to cut and fabricate windows, doors and curtain walling. You will also assist in packaging and loading goods ready for delivery as well as unloading and checking incoming deliveries.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and appropriate Risk Assessments
- Safely operating various machinery, including automated saw, CNC machine, crimper, copy router, pillar drill, end saw and others
- Undertaking assembly work of windows and doors utilising hand power tools and other tools
- Handling materials and finished products in line with manual handling procedures
- Packing and loading of finished products and accessories ready for site deliveries and dispatch
- Assisting with unloading and checking of incoming deliveries
- Attending sites to carry out remedial work, if required
- Overtime may be offered on occasion to meet business demands in busy periods

Practical Skills
You must be willing to assist in other areas of our manufacturing process should the need arise and to learn new skills. Training will be given where needed.
Full time: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm (with early finishes on Fridays)
