Vehicle Technician - Vehicle tech
Cheltenham
Cotswold Van Centre are looking to employ an experienced motor vehicle technician to help manage our busy vehicle workshop.
Cotswold Van Centre have been selling LCV's in Gloucestershire since 1979 and have an outstanding reputation. We are looking for a time served individual who can bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. You will be required to work Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 and one Saturday per month 9 -12:30.
Your main duties will include:
- Helping with the Day to day running of the workshop including other technicians
- Completing vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions
- Liaising directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
- Ensuring vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirement
- You should be ideally a NVQ level 3 technician or equivalent with a clean UK driving license, ideally with some management experience, although this isn't essential.
As well as:
- Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- A good knowledge of the modern diesel engine, AdBlue and DPF systems.
- A self-motivated, team player.
- Able to integrate into the Senior Management Team and add value.
For the right candidate we are willing to offer a competitive salary plus monthly bonus scheme, as well as 20 days holiday, plus statutory bank holidays and a pension.
