Nailsworth

Mechanical Fitter

Day shift, early finish Friday- Full time (40 Hours) - Nailsworth, Parking on site. Up to £30,000

Due to growth, my clients, are looking for Mechanical fitters to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer, producing completing the full lifecycle of high-quality products. A Can-do attitude, team player and problem solver would thrive.

The Role:

Ensure production to the required standards of customer specifications
Assembly of mechanical, electrical, electronic,pneumatic, and hydraulic componentsand sub-assemblies.
Assist with production and build of fabricated assemblies. General production build assemblies- Variety of size and complexity.
Use of General skills including pipe bending, cutting, folding, weld preparation, Hydraulic and pneumatic runs.
Ensure compliance with Health and safety policies and procedures
Meet high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping, working effectively as a team.
Any other ad hoc duties.

The Person:

Engineering background/experience
Ability to work from manufacturingdrawings, sub assembly drawings
Experience with a variety of hand and power tools - small and large components
Ensurethe completed assembly for accuracy
Knowledge of circuitry (Pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics)
Problem solver, able to work on own initiative
Able to work in a teamwith a keen eye for detail.
Experience of vehicle fitting/fabricating. Knowledge of basic electrical assembly. Ability to read electrical circuit drawings. Background in Aviation/military/marine - Advantageous
