This job will be for a self employed person and will cover working for Mini Worxx and Evolution9.
𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 - £40,𝟬𝟬𝟬+++𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 (self-employed), 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 upwards for the right skill set, attitude and drive.

A Very Exciting Opportunity Has Opened Up for a skilled Mechanic to carry out custom wide body Porsche builds, with various future projects, standard repairs & servicing and maintenance on various other model vehicles. We are starting this project Spring 2025.
Many of the regular day to day jobs will involve working on Mini’s from 2002 – Present. Repairs and servicing – Don’t believe the myth that Mini’s are hard to work on, they are NOT when you know how, as we do at Mini Worxx Independent Mini Specialist.
Common duties include diagnosing vehicle faults, repairing or replacing faulty parts and carrying out periodic maintenance. Along with assisting/leading in the building of one off bespoke Porsche creations such as the Miles Works Widebody 996 twin Turbo starting Spring 2025 with partner support https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXoZD1okG7U
Additionally, a 944 Turbo Shooting Brake which needs to be completed and will be unveiled at the Silverstone Festival 2025 and the Classic car Show N.E.C 2025 with the PCGB. https://www.facebook.com/944shootingbrake/. Also, a Porsche 997 twin turbo ultra-widebody is in the development stage and will follow the 996 Ultra wide body.
We will be continually developing and building exciting new Porsche projects and continue to expand on our Porsche service and repair division. Ex-Porsche trained technicians would be a distinct advantage.
The repairs & servicing revolves around ensuring that a vehicle functions efficiently all as the manufacturer designed.
The main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing vehicle faults manually or with the aid of software and diagnostic equipment
- Completing cost and time estimates for work done - job cards.
- Repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts
- Performing test drives to check repairs (full driving licence required)
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance
- Updating vehicle service records
- Installing and fitting new vehicle accessories
- Ability to work on custom builds
- Welding skills would be an advantage
- Some knowledge of auto electrics but not necessary as we do have a dedicated auto electrician/audio specialist on staff.
You Must Have:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Long term experience as a mechanic
- Fabrication skills would be a huge advantage.
- A Full driving licence
The position would be exciting for any mechanic that has a passion for performance cars, Mini’s and Porsche in particular, we also restore classic cars.
