What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a Paint Sprayer:

* Prepare surfaces of metal parts for powder coat painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
* Set up and operate powder coat painting equipment including spray guns, booths, and ovens.
* Select appropriate powder coat materials and colours according to job specifications.
* Apply powder coat paint finishes evenly and accurately to achieve desired thickness and coverage.
* Monitor and adjust application parameters such as air pressure, powder flow rate, and oven temperature to ensure quality results.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coat painting equipment to ensure proper functionality and longevity.
* Candidates are also required to help with some mechanical fitting and assembly when not working in the spray booth.

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Paint Sprayer:

* Proven experience as a Powder Coat Paint Sprayer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
* Previous experience working with specific powder coat paint systems or brands.
* Knowledge of basic maintenance and troubleshooting of powder coat painting equipment.
